To dramatize the proposition that Microsoft's new gaming consul has better sound and better visuals than the Sony Playstation, the creative team of Bartle Bogle Hegarty -- one of London's leading ad agencies -- came up with the concept of grafting extra eyes and ears onto the actors' heads and bodies of! Ear-y stuff!

Other international commercials Limelite artistes have appeared in recently are Barclay Card for the UK, Tang for the People's Republic of China and the Gulf Coast Countries, and Dewars Whiskey for Spain.

8. Will I get paid if a shoot is cancelled at short notice?

Yes - if you have been officially booked on a particular job and it is cancelled, you will be paid. Exactly how much depends on how close to the shoot date this happens.

In the event of a performers' call being cancelled:

Less than 24 hours prior to the shoot, you will be paid the full Performance Fee as per your contract for that particular shoot
Less than 72 hours but not less than 24 hours prior to the date of the shoot, you will be paid 25% of the Performance Fee or R500 whichever is the greater
Less than 48 hours but not less than 24 hours prior to the date of the shoot, you will be paid 50% of the Performance Fee or R500, whichever is the greater

In the event of the entire shoot being cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the day of the shoot, a cancellation fee will be negotiated. This fee shall not exceed a total of 50% of the Performance Fee.
